More about the trip

London Sights
We going to take you on foot and by tube (we give you an all day travel card) to see the sights of London - Tower of London, London Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilliy Circus, Soho, Trafalgar Square, Nelson's Column, National Portrait Gallery, and more. After our walk you'll have time to explore more... ask us for ideas. (You could go shopping on Oxford Street or down Portobello Road, see Princess Diana's home, visit the British Museum or the Victoria & Albert Museum)

Trooping the Colour - Queen Elizabeth II birthday celebrations
The official birthday of the Queen (her real birthday is 21st April) is celebrated each June with a miltary parade called Trooping the Colour. This is a truly British experience when crowds line The Mall, the flag-filled royal road which runs from Buckingham Palace to Whithall, to watch 1400 soldiers in their colourful uniforms marching to the sound of the military bands. The parade ends with the Queen and her family giving us a wave from their balcony at Buckingham Palace. We're going to take you to see all the action - you might even be on t.v.

Walk to Camden Market
We know loads of great places to go out, eat, drink, party, shop and more! On Sunday morning, you can join us for a walk across North London to one of our favourites - Camden Town. The route is good - we go over Primrose Hill for great views over Westminster (and watch out for Madonna or Gwen Stefani!), we walk round Regents Park next to London Zoo (you can hear the animals!), and then, after passing some very nice, big, old expensive houses, we arrive in Camden where you'll find a massive market selling clothes, clothes and more clothes. It's cheap, there are loads of stores blasting out music, there is lots of cheap tasty food and drink on sale, and it's free to look and enjoy the atmosphere!
