Edinburgh
The bold & beautiful capital of Scotland.
With its winding medieval streets and Castle high upon an extinct black volcano that dominates the skyline, Edinburgh, is an ancient city with some seriously breathtaking views. It’s easy to see why the capital city of Scotland was home to Kings and Queens, has been voted one of the most desirable places to live in Europe and is the second most visited place in the UK after London.
Although small in size, and easy to get round, Edinburgh is big on entertainment, packed full of the famous sights including the Scottish Parliament, Palace of Holyrood House, Royal Mile and Princes Street. The city is full of free museums and art galleries, the coolest bars, clubs, cafés and restaurants, ghost tours and walks.
Coming with us you'll see all of the above and discover the 'birthplace' of Harry Potter, climb Arthur’s Seat, and of course, find men in kilts, taste Scotland’s national dish, Haggis, and the water of life, whisky.

Upcoming Edinburgh Trips

"When I started looking into organising my New Years plans I was a bit hesitant about going through a tour company, as they usually offer little freedom and can feel like a school camp. I was pleasantly surprised to find how far off my prediction of the trip was and ended up having the best New Years of my life! After getting off a plane late the night before it was nice to be met early in the morning by such a friendly and bubbly tour manager; who was one of the main reasons the trip was as good as it was. The accommodation was really clean and the staff were very friendly, there were plenty of optional organised activities to help us get the most out of the little time we had available in Edinburgh which were all done with interesting tour guides who engaged the group well. By the time New Years had come, everyone in the group was friends; this was a big advantage to see familiar faces in a sea of 80,000 people. I would definitely recommend DBAT to anyone looking for an easy, affordable and fun trip to escape school for a few days." - Scott McMillan, Australia, New Year 2010
