Itinerary
Morning
Leave your uni early morning for the drive down to Warwickshire. Get to know your trip leader and fellow travellers, listen to stories of Warwick and Shakespeare and sit back and enjoy the ride.
Arriving mid-morning there's a short riverside walk up to the castle for one of the best views in England then plenty of time for you to invade this magnificent castle and discover all it has to offer, from dark and creepy dungeons to mighty towers, plus loads of shows and activities for you to get involved in.
Afternoon
Leaving the wonder of Warwick behind you it's time for a short drive down to Stratford-upon-Avon, home of Shakespeare.
Let your trip leader guide you on a short walk around the well-preserved streets passing both Shakespeare's birthplace and the grave where he is buried, with lots of sights to point out and stories to hear along the way.
Then there's a little free time for you to explore some more, do some shopping, visit one of the Shakespeare houses or feed the ducks on the river before heading back home, arriving back at your uni in the evening.
